Red River Parish is about boating. We have the Red River running right through the middle of the Parish. The Army Corps of Engineers has done a wonderful job in building locks and dams on the Red River and in so doing created some wonderful fishing pools. Bass Fishing competitions are very popular.
Also fish the lovely Grand Bayou Resort. Known for its level camp sites and luxury cabins. Grand Bayou Resort is a great facility with a wonderful stump free man made lake that is stocked with Bass.
